Thanks for the answers everyone. We ended up getting a company in Manchester to bike courier it to us for an extra 60 yesterday, but I've made a not of Server Parts as they look useful.
I've recently taken over the IT of a medium business. The previous incumbents had set a single server, running 4 VMs on it.
They had RAID 1 for the host drives (good) and 2 sets of RAID 5 volumes for the VMs and VHDs (not so good).
One of the disks in the second RAID5 volume died, which shouldn't have been a show stopper as it held only the redirected user folders and the Exchange mailbox -all of which I've got backed up.
BUT
Last year the company ran out of space, so one of the previous **********s decided to span the first Volume onto the second volume to give it more space. So when the scond one died 2 nights ago - everything was at risk...
